The Dazzling Desert is local. It's about you. It celebrates the fabulous people of our communities. Articles, artwork, and photos are offered to share life events, thoughts, poems, which are contributed by the people that make up the lifestyles in this wonderful desert. They might not always make the front page of our newspapers, but they are headliners among their peers.

The Dazzling Desert celebrates the uniqueness of the lake called Havasu and the Colorado River area. Women, men, youth composed of all ages, ethnicity and lifestyle. Whether working, retired, still in school ~ take a look at their accomplishments, explore their life events, dream alongside them through their printed words, beautiful artwork or souls through a camera lens.

The Dazzling Desert takes pride in revealing the spirit of our communities through the pages of the magazine. We hope to give our readers a glimpse of our contributors magnificent talents and lives. Community invokes togetherness. Together with our advertisers, we are able to produce this magazine and give back to the community. To celebrate our advertisers, The Dazzling Desert donated an Automatic External Defibrillator to Project Life.

The Dazzling Desert is a free magazine that is put together right here in the Colorado River areas and is published four times yearly. We are not some big-wig corporation doing this as a marketing concept, but are driven solely by the community around us. Fiscally lean, we operate on the wealth of friendships, support from our friends, family and acquaintances for much assistance (meaning we get lots of help, being on a shoe-string budget). From 5,000 to 25,000 complimentary copies are distributed at specific selected locations in Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, Parker, Sedona and Palm Spring, CA. It is also available via mailed subscription to paid subscribers.

The Dazzling Desert is written by your neighbor, your best friend, an acquaintance, your jeweler, your doctor, your daughter or your son. The artwork you will find is exceptional in every way and we showcase the creative talents that sometimes have been hidden from view. Photography shots allow us to view our desert surroundings snapped by ammeters or professionals, and the events that happen within our community.

We showcase talented, artistic, and inspirational people from the desert who don't always make the front page of the newspapers, but who are respected celebrities among their peers.
